B-Movie Green and Stitched Reels

The presentation is the best thing about this release. A moonlit forest sits behind the grid, bats cross the screen, trees sway, and the reel frame itself looks stitched together from torn scraps.

Frankie leans in from the right with luminous green skin and neck bolts, wearing an expression closer to weary than menacing. This is comic-book horror rather than gothic dread, and it works on its own terms.

Charming, Familiar, Slightly Undercooked

Frightening Frankie is a likeable game that never quite escapes the shadow of the studio’s fishing series.
