There is no polite way to say it: Steamin’ Reels looks its studio’s age. The art has a late-’90s, early-2000s flavour, the kind of clean-but-plain presentation that will not win any beauty contests against a modern Pragmatic release.
It does have one nice trick. When the bonus fires, the background parallax scrolls and the train visibly gathers speed, which gives the free spins a lift the base game never manages.
