Two things about 1Voucher confuse most readers, and both are answered below. The first is the 1ForYou name, which is the same Flash product under a different label rather than a competitor. The second is withdrawals: 1Voucher’s own terms say the value cannot be exchanged for cash, yet 10bet pays winnings out as a 1Voucher. Both statements are true, and the reason is worth understanding before you choose this method.

Flash reports serving more than 25 million cash based customers across South African informal retail.

One piece of corporate context worth knowing if you rely on this method: on 22 July 2026 Pepkor announced it will merge Flash with Shop2Shop in a R21.3 billion deal, creating a merchant fintech platform with a future JSE listing flagged. Nothing about the voucher changes today, but the product now sits inside a much larger restructuring.
🔄 1Voucher vs 1ForYou
1Voucher and 1ForYou are the same Flash product, not two competing vouchers. 1Voucher is the bearer PIN you buy at a till. 1ForYou was the wallet app you loaded those PINs into, and Flash has since renamed that app to the 1Voucher app. If a bookmaker’s cashier lists either name, the same 16 digit PIN works.
🔎 How We Confirmed They Are the Same Product
Playbet‘s help centre carries two separate articles, one titled for 1Voucher and one for 1ForYou, and both resolve to the same underlying help article. 10bet goes further and uses both names in one flow: its deposit page is labelled 1ForYou while its withdrawal page is labelled 1Voucher, for the same rail. 📝 How to Deposit With a 1Voucher
Buy the voucher with cash, open the bookmaker’s cashier, choose 1Voucher or 1ForYou, enter the 16 digit PIN and the amount, and confirm. The balance appears immediately at every operator in the table that publishes a timing. Nothing in the flow asks for a card number, a bank login or an app.
Step 1: Buy the Voucher
Pay cash at any Flash trader, Shoprite, Checkers, PEP or Ackermans till, or buy one inside a banking app. Ask for the amount you want and keep the printed slip until the deposit has cleared.

🧮 Worked Example: Where the R5 Minimum Actually Helps
10bet’s R5 floor is the lowest voucher deposit of any bookmaker we cover, and Shoprite sells 1Vouchers from R5, so the two line up exactly. That makes a R5 test deposit possible before committing real money, which is not something the R50 minimums elsewhere allow. Going the other way, 10bet’s R2,500 deposit ceiling means a R3,000 bankroll needs two vouchers, not one.
💸 Can You Withdraw With 1Voucher?
At 10bet, yes: withdrawals of R50 to R3,000 are paid out as a 1Voucher, free and instant. Nowhere else in our table publishes a 1Voucher payout route. This looks like it contradicts Flash’s terms, which state the value cannot be exchanged for cash, and the resolution explains what you actually receive.
💡 Why Both Statements Are True
A 1Voucher payout does not hand you cash. It issues you a new 16 digit PIN to the value of your withdrawal. You can spend that PIN with any Flash redemption partner, including airtime, data, electricity and other betting accounts, but you cannot walk into a shop and exchange it for banknotes. So the money leaves the bookmaker instantly, and stays inside the Flash ecosystem until you spend it. Note the banking app route carefully. Buying a 1Voucher inside GoTyme or Nedbank means the money leaves your bank account and becomes a bearer PIN, which is the opposite of what most people assume a bank purchase does.
